South Shore Conservatory’s Summer Dance Program is a wonderful opportunity for students to connect through dance, in a fun, inspiring and motivating environment! Come and enjoy a whole week of dance and experience classes including Ballet, Pointe, PBT, Yoga, Hip Hop, Jazz, Conditioning, Lyrical, Improv, and Art. There will be a small, informal performance on the last day to display some of the repertoire the students have been working on throughout the week.

Ballet level 3+
Session 1: July 17, 24, 31
Session 2: August 7, 14, 21
4:00-5:30 pm
This class is suitable for current Level 3+.
The class focus will be on maintaining technique and strength that was attained during the year and gaining insight into new repertoire for the upcoming semester.

Adult Ballet

Challenge your body and brain with a lovely workout grounded in Classical Ballet Technique.
Adult Ballet classes are for EVERYbody. This class welcomes all, whether you are a beginner, have some experience, or are looking to resurrect your interest. We invite you to engage in our classical ballet class at SSC, where we foster a supportive, creative environment and a safe space where your passion and motivation can thrive! The class will begin at the barre, progress through center practice, turns, allegro, and finish across the floor. Accompanied by traditional classical music, you will learn technique, terminology, and flourish as the dancer you are. There will be a flexible dress code. Leotard and tights are optional. Split soled ballet shoes suggested.
Tuition- $75 per session
First Pointe Shoes Workshop
August 26-30, 4-5:30 pm
current Level 4's only
These classes will include Barre work, PBT, learning how to care for the feet, shoe preparation and understanding the basic fundamentals of beginning pointe work. This class will serve as a pre cursor of repertoire that will be covered in the next level.
